Established since 2004, War is a Sydney design practice, named after Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, a 3,000 year old book about out-smarting your competition, capturing the high ground and winning the battle before it even starts. War works across all brand and design disciplines including brand identity, strategy/naming, corporate communications, consumer, packaging, books and magazines, environmental and interactive.
In 2014, War worked with the University of NSW to develop a brand identity to be used across all print collateral aimed at potential 2014 undergraduates. Simplicity, colour, infographics and typography came together to create a 28pp brochure. A series of banners was also developed, making further use of the infographics to impart facts of university life in a fun and accessible way.
